My internet is offline

If your internet is offline, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially restore your connection. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you:

1. Check Your Router and Modem:

Ensure that your router and modem are powered on and have all the necessary cables securely connected.
Look for any indicator lights on the router and modem that might indicate connectivity issues.

2. Restart Your Router and Modem:

Unplug the power cables from both the router and modem.
Wait for about 10-15 seconds, then plug the power cables back in.
Allow a few minutes for the devices to fully restart and establish connections.

3. Check Other Devices:

If possible, check if other devices in your home are also experiencing internet connectivity issues. This will help determine if the problem is isolated to a single device or a broader network issue.

4. Use Ethernet Cable (Wired Connection):

If you have an Ethernet cable, try connecting your device directly to the router using the cable. This can help determine if the issue is related to Wi-Fi or the overall network.

5. Restart Your Device:

Restart the device (computer, smartphone, tablet) that is experiencing internet issues. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity problems.

6. Consider Mobile Data or Alternate Network:

If you need internet urgently and your home connection is still down, you can use your mobile data if you have a cellular data plan or connect to an alternative Wi-Fi network, such as a public hotspot.

7. Contact Flume Internet Support:

If none of the above steps work, it's a good idea to text our customer support line at
+1 (855) 913-5863. We can check for any outages in your area or provide further assistance.

Remember that troubleshooting steps can vary based on your specific situation and the devices you're using. It's also a good idea to consult any user manuals or support resources provided by your personal device manufacturer for more tailored guidance.
